Acendre Recruitment receives Federal Services Contract
Highly Configurable and Automated Solution Seamlessly Integrates with Agency’s Existing Processes to Attract, Hire and Onboard Top Talent
Arlington, VA, September 21, 2017 – Acendre, a worldwide leader in secure, cloud-based talent management software, today announced that the Transportation Security Administration (TSA), a Department of Homeland Security agency, will implement Acendre Recruitment as part of the Accenture Federal Services contract awarded earlier this year by the TSA to support its Office of Human Capital (OHC) in the hiring and recruiting of 8,000 to 10,000 employees a year.
Acendre Recruitment is the industry’s only solution built from the ground up to meet the unique federal government hiring practices and requirements – TSA users will have access to Acendre People Analytics, the underlying data analysis component of Acendre Recruitment that quickly, securely and cost effectively transforms organizations through executive- and operational-level dashboards and reports.
Acendre will help support the recruitment and hiring of a diverse, well-qualified workforce of approximately 60,000 TSA employees. As part of the contract, Acendre will replace the current hiring process with a system that includes providing an applicant intake system for transportation security officer and federal air marshal positions. The system will also include end-to-end management administrative professional positions as well as transportation security executive service hiring processes.
Acendre Recruitment provides the platform to improve time to hire and the quality of people hired, while reducing costs and enhancing critical decision making. It offers advanced and secure recruitment and assessment tools along with enhanced reporting and search capabilities to maximize and improve recruitment processes and meet hiring needs. Designed specifically for the federal government, the solution is interoperable with any human resource system, including Core HR, payroll, on boarding and learning management systems. Its workflow engine adapts to existing processes, not the other way around.
In addition, Acendre People Analytics provides federal HR specialists, supervisors and executives with an unparalleled level of detailed, sophisticated human capital insight – without the need for a data scientist. It delivers the capabilities to develop comprehensive, rich data sets so information on candidates is available in real time, when it’s needed.
“It is an honor to provide technology that will help improve the hiring process for candidates whose responsibility and mission is to protect the nation’s transportation systems, ensuring the freedom of movement for people and commerce,” said Mike Giuffrida, co-founder and CEO of Acendre. “This program fits into TSA’s existing processes and automates many of the legacy manual processes backed by analytics to provide the platform to help hire the right people for the right positions.”
