STEM Talent Management and Recruitment

For scientists and technicians in decades past,
the notion of a career in government represented a noble
calling – an opportunity to innovate and inspire while
contributing to the greater good. That’s why so many
intelligent, talented people devoted their lives to the
public sector to work on groundbreaking initiatives such as
the Apollo program, the Manhattan Project, the creation
of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in the
1940s, and something called the Advanced Research
Projects Agency Network (ARPANET) in the 1960s.
ARPANET, of course, would pave the way for the Internet.

The STEM talent world has changed.
